Welcome to HOOPZONE Rookie Basketball League for girls and boys in grades 2 and 3.  This recreational league is designed to give area youth the opportunity to learn the game of basketball in a FUN and healthy environment promoting good sportsmanship and team play.  Volunteer coaches will teach the skills, develop an attitude of team work and establish a passion for the game.  Using mini courts, referees, 9’ hoops and youth size balls this will bring the game alive for this age group.  HOOPZONE Basketball will be the league organizer and skills clinic and games will be at the Farwell Middle School.  Families and spectators welcomed.

If you have a first grader who would better fit into this league rather than in our Lil Dribbler program you may do so.

IMPORTANT 2012 WINTER LEAGUE DATES:
Early Registration: $35.00 (12-01-11 thru 12-31-11)
(must be postmarked Dec. 31sth for early discount)
Late Registration: $40.00  (1-1-12 thru 2-11-12)
Skills Clinic/Draft Day:  Feb 11 (Sat., 9:00-11:00am) at Farwell MS gym, click for map
1 Practice Session:  Monday Feb. 13 at CCN, click for map
All girls from 6:30-7:30 and all boys from 7:30-8:30 (sorry late but hard to find times)
Game Days:  Feb. 18, 25, Mar 3 & 10 (Saturday mornings) at Farwell MS gym, click for map

Prior to each game both teams will have a 20 minute practice so instruction stay fresh
