                | COMMENTS ON THIS DRILL:
                Use this drill with rewards to winning team. 5 on 5 playing very aggressively. Keep it intense as that is what makes a good rebounder! |

   VIDEOS OF VARIOUS TYPES OF REBOUNDING         | Set up in a game situation as shown here. Defense is in good  position. Drill begins with coach shooting the ball or passing to  either wing guard for a shot. Coach will say “Shot” when he wants the shot. Defenders rotate in help aside positions as ball is rotated  around perimeter. When shot is taken all defender must find their offensive  person and box them out.     If offense gets ball put it back up hard, you have 3 seconds  to shoot. If defense gets ball look to outlet to your wing guards as  opposing team tries to block outlet pass. Play this as a game, with the offensive quick shot counting  two points and a fast-break basket counting one point.  Use this drill to teach rotating on defense, blocking out,  rebounding, and executing a fast- break without dribbling.
